Forever Six: Honoring Aëla, the Joyful
Forever Six: The Story of Aëla Rolland
Born on December 31, 2018, as one year ended and another began, Aëla Rolland entered the world like a whisper—gentle, radiant, and full of light.
To those who knew her, she was joy itself: kind, curious, and filled with music.
Her laughter and singing could lift any spirit, and when she danced, it was as if the world stood still.
In June 2024, at just five years old, Aëla was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG)—a rare and incurable brain tumor.
Despite pain and loss of movement, she never stopped smiling, singing, or loving.
Her quiet courage inspired everyone around her.
On May 16, 2025, Aëla “flew into the sky with Peter Pan,” as her mother, Meg Rolland, wrote.
Though gone too soon, her spirit endures—in every song, every twirl, every moment of kindness.
Forever six. Forever loved. Forever light.
